How we work

Measure first, try it on one holiday, then build from there.

Everything we do starts with a measurement you can check and ends in bookings you can count. We don't propose anything until the audit's done.

The measurement

The China Visibility Index

Before we suggest anything, we work out how visible your property is to a Chinese traveller right now, and we do it against two competitors you choose. There are five parts to the score, each out of 20, all measured on the same day with dated screenshots, so your own team can repeat any of it and get the same answer.

01Douyin reach: topic views for the property's Chinese name
02RedNote volume: notes posted in the last 90 days
03RedNote engagement: likes and saves on the top ten notes
04Official presence: verified accounts on RedNote, Douyin, WeChat
05Booking layer: Ctrip rating and reviews, Dianping listing, in-app tickets
0 to 100The Index, for you and two rivals

What you get back is one sentence a board can act on: where you stand, against whom, and what's missing. That score becomes the baseline for everything that follows, and we re-run it every quarter so you can see what's changed.

The walk-through

Your booking journey, as a Chinese guest sees it

We follow the route a Chinese guest actually takes, from first search to confirmed booking, in their language and on their apps, and we screenshot every point where a property drops out of view. It's usually one of a handful of things: an unverified account, a listing with no reviews, a rate you can't book in the app, or a name that isn't the one people search for.

DiscoverDouyin and RedNote: do you show up at all?
ValidateRedNote and WeChat: has anyone written about you lately?
BookCtrip: rating, review count, and a bookable rate
ReviewDianping: is the last review recent, and did anyone reply?

Influencer campaigns

Creators in your property, in the weeks when trips get decided

Chinese travellers take their cues from other travellers. A creator standing in your lobby, on your beach or at your ticket gate does more for you than any advert, as long as the content feels native, is properly disclosed and lands before people start booking. We shortlist creators who suit your kind of guest, you approve each one, we brief them and look after them while they're with you, and every post gives people a way to book. The content is yours to keep, and no accounts are held in our name.

Three steps

Audit, pilot, programme

Week 1The China Visibility Audit. Free. Your score, the walk-through and a one-page plan
90 daysA pilot on one property over one holiday, for a fixed fee plus a capped share of tracked revenue above your baseline. Bookings tracked through a dedicated rate plan or promo code on your existing Trip.com connectivity and reconciled against your PMS
OngoingAn ongoing programme across a group or a destination, with monthly reporting for the board and a fresh audit every quarter

Pilots start from AED 90,000 for one property and one holiday window, with creator budgets passed through at cost. We confirm a price after the audit, once we know your starting point and what's involved, and we never price by the platform.

Find out where your property stands. The audit won't cost you anything.
